Finally a book about Parkinson’s that I can understand, a book that gives me as a caregiver so much useful information and my husband with PD a more optimistic view as he progresses thru this disease. Even if you are just curious about the disease, perhaps know someone that has just been diagnosed or wonder if there is something you might just be missing in your maintenance program, this book is excellent, easy reading, organized and informative.

excellent book in easy understanding wording......it is written without the clinical way of other books. his mom has the disease and he tells theall the problems surrounding it and some ways of dealing with it. I found it to be much easier reading then other ones, since I have recently beentold I also have this horrible disease.

I'm living as Lianna lived, with a mother who has Parkinson's. Her ideas and tips are helpful especially when learning what the hell this disease is all about!

Overnight this book helped me better understand what my Mom was going through and helped me calm her down during an "off" time. It made her symptoms more easy to understand.

These are gorgeous!! The cards are matte but feel very nice. They are a little wider than typical cards as well but that doesn't change anything. I'm so excited I preordered these

I have never really enjoyed using oracle decks because I prefer the very open and deep interpretation provided by tarot decks. However, I felt the push to incorporate an oracle deck into my usual tarot readings to add another dimension for interpretation. I kept seeing the Moonology Deck on Instagram posts and despite my reluctance to use oracle decks, I found myself so taken by the card illustrations I decided to jump and purchase it. I am so glad I did! The artwork is as beautiful in real life as I hoped it would be, with the cool-toned watercolors evoking the same serene calm as moon gazing on a quiet, clear night. I find the card descriptions comfortably open as well. So many oracle decks seem to give directives on the cards, removing the reader's ability to interpret meaning from their own perspective relevant to questions being asked. The Moonology oracle avoids this, and the addition of assigning cards to moon phases or astral events allows the reader even further flexibility of interpretation as well. Still always and forever a tarot gal, but I really am enjoying the additional interpretations generated through this deck! Photo is from my first card pull from the deck this afternoon.

I have been following Yasmin Boland for a couple of years and love her wisdom. As a user and collector of both oracle cards I Pre-ordered her oracle Deck.I am truly impressed, from the weight of the cad stock to the incredible artwork, the cards are lovely to work with. And yes, right off the bat I got a pleasing response to a question and to double check I repeated the process. (Not recommended, but I couldn’t resist). I was delighted to get the identical response. I will be giving this deck as gifts this year as they are easy and charming to use, even if you don’t follow moon cycles. Enjoy!

The cardstock isn't flimsy, I wish it was gilded tho. but i really enjoy and love these cards. I did a trial run during the harvest moon and it was spot on. two thumbs up

Super flimsy card stock. I own 30 decks. This is the worst. Sad. I like the idea. Wouldn’t buy it unless they came out with a new and improved card stock. Disappointed

From revealing the box, to reading the booklet cover to cover, I was blown away by the artistry in the pictures, quality of cards, and profoundness of the wording. I waited to write this until I worked with the cards a few times- a beautiful deck is only as good as its wisdom- this deck has been extremely accurate for me. The cards have brought me comfort, foresight, and preparedness in response to my inquiries, both long term (2019 new year reading) and short term (an anticipated rough day at work). I absolutely recommend this Oracle deck for anyone who finds solace in the moon. The cards are easier to understand if you already work with lunar cycles and have knowledge of zodiac signs. This is my first Oracle deck; I am more experienced with Tarot. I use Moonology more easily than my Tarot decks, there is just more of an informal, quick message about them that doesn't need as much interpretation. If I could blow some of these cards up and hang them on my walls, I would!

Just know that Hellboy left the BPRD and now some of the men and creatures working for it are unsure about their future in the Government Organization.They investigate monsters, creatures, and other stuff. Pretty standard stuff. You get to learn more about Lobster Johnson, Roger, and Abe Sapien which is PERFECT because they are all great characters.It's a fine introduction to the Universe, too, and not bogged down too much in continuity but sort of creates it's own without relying too much on Hellboy.Pick it up! Even if you've never read Mignola before this is a fine beginning place!

I purchased this as an upgrade to my paperback collections, and I'm extremely impressed by the quality of the edition. It's an absolutely massive tome collecting everything B.P.R.D. from the first arc, Hollow Earth, through the titular of Plague of Frogs proper. If you are a fan of the series looking to upgrade your collection, this is an essential purchase. If you'd like it to more closely match up with the Hellboy Library Editions, you can remove the dust jacket for a similarly black cover. Be aware that these aren't any larger than the trades, though the quality is a significant step up.So why not give a higher rating? This collection is so much better than trying to read it from single comic books (Which is what I've been doing for years. I just found out about this format last month.)It's a bit heavy, so have a good bed or desk to lay the book one while you read it.I bought all 4 volumes at the same time, so all my reviews are pretty much the same. Roll with it.

Absolutely loved it. Got up to Hellboy the wild hunt omnibus vol 3 and then decided to get this when looking at a timeline and I can’t wait to read the next one

The BPRD Plague of Frog books are incredible! Every volume is packed full of excellent art, characters you care about, stories that can make you feel giddy or bum you out to no end. The books are incredibly high quality from the page thickness to the binding, these are going to stand the test of time (or multiple people reading them a few times a piece). I just received this B.P.R.D. Plague of Frogs volume 1 hardcover today and I am impressed. In reading them all previously, it was refreshing to reread them and have so many in a convenient and classy package. Mike Mignola's writing has a similar but different feel than his Hellboy volumes. It's very much an excellent compliment to the Hellbuy arc, similar in tone but different enough in a variety of ways that expand the world of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.. With a variety of visual talent, B.P.R.D. explores the endless possibilities and depth of the individual B.P.R.D. characters, mostly sidelined in previous Hellboy arcs. Here, old characters are expanded and new characters are introduced. I can't wait for the next volumes to continue in this trend. The stories get even better beyond the issues offered here. As the stories progress, the mythology gets even tighter and more rewarding emotionally as each story deepens a rich plot and gives each character, new and old, excellent development. The stories are fun and unpredictable. Above all, this series really allows Guy Davis to shine. For those of you who have not yet read passed this volume, just wait. It gets even better.

As a fellow Hyderabadi (I've been to the same school as laxman), And as an avid follower of Indian cricket from mid 90s I was looking forward to read his story. Thought he deserved a place in 2003 world cup but I also thought sachin, rahul and laxman could have taken turns to give chances to younger batsmen at least from the disastrous Australian tour of 2011...Nevertheless he played unbelievably amazing innings particularly against Australia and its fascinating to know they never sledged him while they didn't spare sachin when it comes to sledging. That shows the respect he has earned. Also liked how he shared his experiences, good and bad with coaches, his fun stories with teammates, good read. I still wonder if he can score 281 when no one believed we could win that test match, could he have done something very very special in the world cup 2003 if he was sent at number 3...

Took me back to my memory lanes. VVS shared his successes and struggles equally. He shared his struggles and he overcame than his wonderful successes which are so many. Blessed to watch his batting and equally privileged to read this book. Sad that book is over

For anyone who followed cricket during the era of Sachin-Saurav-Dravid-Laxman this is a must read book ....VVS Laxman has provided a very detailed narration of his cricketing journey. I used to always wonder why someone like him, who was so wonderful with the bat was not good at fielding? He provides answer to that & a lot more things in this book including his struggle as he was constantly dropped from the team (often without reason/explanation) ....I loved how he has dedicated an entire chapter to write specially about Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly Official, Rahul Dravid & Virender Sehwag .... some real interesting things are shared here & finally he writes about some amazing philanthropic work he is doing with his wife post-retirement ....When Laxman played, specially against the Aussies, he was a pleasure to watch. He details the epic innings of 281 which changed the course of test cricket. This is an amazing chapter to read, to understand what was going through his mind as he along with David achieved the impossible. I also loved his description of his 2010 test match again against Aussies where he played with the tail & secured us a win. He braved some crazy back pain as he did this with the tail.What a champion player he was .... read this book my friends !! #281AndBeyond

I started the book with low expectations, but ended up learning a lot about cricket, performance management and the support needed to succeed at the highest level. VVS' brilliance extends to his writing as well. There is a lot one can relate to in one's own everyday life. A must read for a fan or anyone wanting to excel in sport.
